Team raceing

In keepin with now a 51 year history at Rochester Frostbite association, the team race was a great success, thank you everyone for all your help!
It turned out to be a really nice day. It was sunny with a light south/ south west wind and temps in the mid to upper 30's. We could have used a few more knots of breeze, but when we still got in 37 races to complete our rotation and sail off.
The Crashboat team of Chris and Rich Connoly, Mike Conklin, and Jim Orr set the start off the launch ramp near RJYC and put the windward mark near the club, the a leeward mark down by the seagull pier and the finish was off the corner of RYC. That was all perfect for both the RC and the spectators looking down at the action.
Thank you Amy Moran and Sarah Enright for running the starts.
On finish we had Jim and Patty Thompkins and Lambo.
Carolyn Bick kept the rotation moving wich was no easy task with 37 races, 9 teams and 2 sets of teams on the water at any time.
Delia, Amy Jerman, and Carolyn brought lots of soup and Chili to keep us fed throughout the day.
Then we were on to the legendary dinner and party at Kiki and Chris's. Amy Deblase gave up her usual RC spot to help set up the party.
Awards were printed up by Delia and Amy at Bill Dexters print shop.
Thanks everyone for helping out and make sure you mark hext years team race on your calendar's for the Saturday 2 days after T-Day.View Pictures
